I was aboard Elation in September of last year. I had an absolutely wonderful time, so I decided to go again. What an incredible disappointment! The level of service, in just nine months, had degraded to abominable. I had problem after problem for five days, not the relaxing adventure I had envisioned.

The one bright spot was the guide on the Taste of Mexico shore excursion in Ensenada. Her name was Martha, and she made that day more than memorable. What a fabulous attitude and personality, we had such a good time. Unfortunately it was just five hours out of five long, unpleasant days. Elation should be called Frustration these days.

The food is decent.

The staff is clean and efficient.

The boat was wall-to-wall screaming, unsupervised kids who are apparently allowed to do whatever they want at the expense of adult experiences.

Ensenada Taste of Mexico was a surprising amount of fun. Cabo was ruined for us by the ship's shore excursion "team".

Won't do it again.
