Ship: Carnival Elation

Itinerary: Cozumel

The ship was clean. I like this smaller ship compared to the larger that I have been on. The food was just fair in my opinion. No complaints with staff whatsoever, they were delightful. Only complaints were too many children left to run up and down the halls unsupervised. The elevator wait was very problematic especially during debarking process. Ignorant people would simply jump in front of us to get the elevator despite the fact that we were there first. I will probably avoid Carnival for all future cruises as they are too Family/Kid Friendly for my needs. The entertainment was lackluster. Cozumel stop was very disappointing. Snorkeling was enjoyable, but island nothing to write home about. Beach was just ordinary - nothing special like St. Thomas, Aruba or St. Martin. I honestly don't know why the cruise lines even have Cozemel on their itinerary. I won't be going back there.

Fair

Small but clean

Shows were lackluster and not very good singing or dancing.

Skip Cozumel - very disappointing.

Had a large group (18) so we made our own fun. Loved Dukes Piano bar for the sign along. Loved the sushi bar. Just too many kids constantly underfoot. Wait staff was excellent.
