With this being my first cruise, I was unsure what to expect but I read a lot of reviews prior to sailing and it helped with my curiosity but of course you need you own experience. Overall I enjoyed the cruise! I was sick the last night due to unstable waters but I definitely wouldn't let that hold me back from booking another cruise.

Breakfast: I regret not having the chance to eat there for breakfast but that will not be the case on my next cruise. Breakfast on the ship is served in both the dining room and on the Lido Deck. Due to me waking up late most mornings we always ate the Late Risers breakfast on the Lido which was buffet style with pancakes, toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, omelets, and morning pastries. My only complaint would be that the food wasn't always as hot as I liked but I made due for the circumstances. Drinks options are lemonade, tea, coffee, or water which are complimentary or you have the option to buy the unlimited soda card but I had no problem drinking the lemonade….apple juice and orange juice are available complimentary on the Lido every morning for breakfast. You also have the choice of having breakfast in your room ordered through room service if you are not a morning person.
Lunch: The first meal I had onboard was inside of Tiffany's. I decided to get a hot ham and cheese after reading reviews on how this was the best sandwich at the deli. I was not blown away by the sandwich and decided to get a slice of pizza instead. Throughout the rest of the day frequented the buffet on the Lido Deck. Here you have outdoor grill serving hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken strips, fries, etc all day. On the other side you can also find a Mongolian Grill that serves noodle dishes with your choice of beef, salmon, or chicken. Tiffany's also does a salad bar and buffet that served fried chicken, vegetable gyros, pasta, rolls, and much more, you also have the option of the 24 hour pizza, ice cream, and other deserts in Tiffany's.
Dinner: The first night in the Main Dining Room was to be cruise casual but I saw many in formal attire but the food was always good here. You get the choice of an appetizer, entrée, and desert and let me tell you you can order as many things as you like. My favorite entrees would have to be the lobster and shrimp from the formal night and the cornish hen from a different night. The portions are small but you can always order more when you are done. We had lunch in the dining room on one occasion and the menu that day was okay. I ordered a salad which had very flavorful chicken and seemed to be a favorite at the table. Overall, I say eat in the dining room as much as possible

I was upset I missed the Mexican buffet but I made up for it in Cozumel with the best tacos at Fat Tuesdays!

Stateroom was okay, enough room to be comfortable and I am glad I had a room with a ocean view. After seeing some of the balcony rooms I would like to book a balcony or suite on my next cruise.

On board activities were not bad. You had the option of karaoke, comedy, adult rated comedy, and some other shows each night.

Progresso is where I would go to do shopping and to buy Mexican liquor. I was able to get a bargain on the things I bought here as many say Cozumel is more expensive than Progresso. In Cozumel, we did the speed boat and private beach excursion. The ride to the private island was alot of fun and you got to see alot of Cozumel's coastal line. Once we got to the beach we did a LONG tour in the HOT sun then we were able to enjoy the Mayan lunch buffet and open bar. After lunch we enjoyed the beautiful beach! Endless reasons why I would not do this excursion again. After we made our way back to the port we stopped by Fat Tuesday's and had a GREAT time! I def suggest Fat Tuesdays for the drinks, food, and music. Cozumel was the best time I had in a long time :)
