Not sure what the last reviewer is complaining about (except everything). We loved the cruise. The food was wonderful in the dining room. Okay in Tiffany's. The Pizza at the Pizza bar was also good. The service was amazing. The waiter and busboy were always pleasant and so very attentive. The room attendant was wonderful. Almost invisible. Entertainment was o.k. Casino...lost quickly. But my husband saw a woman win a very large jackpot on a slot while he was in there. The ship was extremely clean. I think the only disappointment for me was the pool. Much smaller than I expected, but I guess it's a ship after all.

The shore excursion in Puerto Vallarta that we took was Los Caletas. I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone. So wonderful. Heaven. A 50 min. boat ride (bring drammine) to the boat accessible beach. Cobbled pathways in the lush foliage. Thatched roof huts for dining and others with hammocks. Tropical birds. Nice fabric/wood lounge chairs on the beach. The beach was wonderful. We snorkeled and Kayaked and had an authentic Mexican lunch. The best excursion.

Mazatlan's Deer Island excursion the next day was extremely disappointing after Los Caletas. We were boated to a barren island and parked in plastic chairs under two tents. We were served fruit and rolls before Kayaking. We were told not to go into the water because of the Jellyfish. One man on our excursion didn't heed the warning and got stung 3 times. We left early. Nothing to do. The boat took us over to Mazatlan where we were swarmed by vendors as soon as we hit shore. No less than 20 in the first 5 minutes and it was continuous for the next 45 mins. Took a cab back to the ship. Mazatlan is not my idea of a vacation destination. Loved Puerto Vallarta much more.

Cabo San Lucas was also great. We took the Los Gatos Booze cruise. It was a lot of fun. We snorkeled by Los Arcos. The boat crew was great and kept us filled up on rum punches. Then we rented wave runners for 1/2 hour and also para-sailed. It is common knowledge that the stay in Cabo is way to short (only 5 hours) but I hear it's because of the tide. It's the only port where we had to be transported to shore via tinder boats. The line to come back was horrendously long and a fair amount of vendors going up and down the line. Great cruise. We took our 7 and 8 year olds. They loved it. Wonderful family vacation. Highly recommended by us.
