This was our 5 cruise, first on Carnival. They certainly are FUN ships. We had a wonderful time. The food and service is not the same quality as Princess but certainly satisfactory. We travelled with our neighbors, it was their first cruise. They can't wait to cruise again. I work in the TV industry and was very impressed with the quality of the entertainment. I really like the idea that Carnival changes entertainers half way thru the cruise so you are always seeing new entertainment. The casino was the best ship casino we have seen. The best shore excursion was not offered by the ship. I found it on the internet. If you enjoy horseback riding or would just like to try it check out Randi's Happy Horses in Mazatlan. We had a wonderful time riding thru coconut plantations and along the beach. My wife is a pretty good horsewoman, I am a beginning rider, and our friends had never ridden before. It was the best off ship activity we did on the whole cruise. We would have liked more time in Cabo San Lucas. Puerto Vallarta was fun. We went to Senor Frogs and had a blast. The cabins were fine. I didn't think they were any larger than those on other ships we have been on. I really recommend this cruise to firstime cruisers or someone who just wants a week at sea from the west coast.
