All and all a bad experience and we will not be using Carnival again. It first started with our assigned room M265. The carpet was wet and had a bad mildew smell for the 2 days we were in it. We talked to the pursers office and they arranged for us to move to another room M258. Our next experience was a raffle for a free facial. My wife won. Which is great until she tried to collect. The were booked and had no times available. Then there was a loud speaker announcement on Friday or Saturday. It stated that there were discounts on Salon services. So we went up and scheduled my wife for a facial. We actually had someone chase us down and tell us unfortunately there was a misunderstanding and they can't book us. We had some good experiences in port of Progresso. We went ahead and booked a shore excursions with Carnival to Uxmal. That was very neat. We swam with the dolphins in Cozumel. With the costs and the commercialization of Cozumel, we probably could have hired a taxi and just paid park entrance fees. Would have saved anywhere from 50% to 75%. Went Cave tubing in Belize. Very good experience. Very happy with purchasing the shore excursion on line with Wet n Wild. Our worst part of the cruise came after we returned home. Carnival charged the wrong credit card and other than saying the purser shouldn't have done what they did made no offer to make it right. We were charged with NSF charges 5 times. We contacted our bank and Carnival the same day.
