We had a wonderful experience on this cruise. Previous reviews state that the ship is in disrepair, but I just did not see that at all. Everything was beautiful and well groomed. The staff was absolutely amazing. We got everything we asked for and more. Our dinner servers knew what colas and drinks we wanted and had them ready and waiting on us as we were seated each evening. Our room was very well taken care of. The fun team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time at all hours of the day. I seriously don't think they sleep. We had our 2 eleven year old children with us and they thoroughly enjoyed Camp Carnival. I felt they were safe and well supervised. On one of the days at port, we saw a maintenance crew examining a life boat and putting it into the water and inspecting it. That was something I had often wondered about and was pleasantly surprised to see them actually doing maintenance to them. The food was wonderful. There was always a new selection daily with some favorites still on the menu. Although the pool was a bit crowded, it was still fun and enjoyable by all. We will definately cruise with Carnival again and probably with The Fantasy as Charleston is a simple and convenient port to use. It was amazing how organized the city of Charleston was in getting everyone in and out very quickly.
