This Cruise was Awesome!! I read a lot of reviews before going and I must say I found nothing to complain about. Everything was Great!! Our room was a balcony on the verandah level. If this is your first time cruising and you are a couple get the balcony!! We brought our 8 year old on this Cruise one of the reason for picking this cruise line and ship. It was everything we could have imagined and more. My wife son and I all loved hanging out on our own balcony watching the sea and ships go by.

The balconies are small but well worth it!

Our son loved this ship with all the thing to do. We could hardly ever find him, once we got over the fact that there is no place for him to go were on a ship. We set him free with a room key and a soda card (must get a soda card for the kids). He found every kid his age in the first day unbelievable. Every night he insisted on going to the pajama party in camp carnival, this feature is awesome 10 till 3 am party for kids with the staff. I checked on him and he would be asleep before midnight but we knew he was safe and having a great time. They did scavenger hunts ice-cream parties etc...This gave my wife and I time to go to the late shows I recommend this, very funny and entertaining. By the end of the night we could not wait to get back to our room to see what our room stewardess Eugina had made for us in the way of towel animals! These people work hard. Our room was always clean and she even put away our dirty laundry! I tipped her 20 bucks the first day as a bonus wow did we get the royal treatment. These people work for the tips they don't get paid much This is one person who can make your trip great and she did.

The food was great everywhere on the ship but dinners were the best!! The first thing our waitress does is unfold your napkin and put it in your lap then unfolds your menu and puts it in your hands WOW! I thought she was going to work the fork for me too ha ha. This is a 5 star event dining on Captains night was the best though. I rented the tux well worth it especially for the photo opportunities. I did not have to pack a sport coat this way and I looked great next to my wife! Get dressed up for the formal night play the part of a king and queen it was fun! I could not decide between the lobster and the prime rib dinner so I ordered them both no hassle or problem. Go to one of your finer restaurants and try to do this. The menu changed every night so I recommend you go every night you don't want to miss out on anything. We missed dinner the night in Nassau. We were so tired after the dolphin encounter we went back to our cabin for a nap and slept through dinner. No problem there is food all over this ship. so we got to try the buffet that night. It was great. Breakfast buffet was great too. Some people said in other review that breakfast buffet was bad. When have you ever been to a 5 star buffet for breakfast? It is breakfast food We all thought it was great.

Our trip into Freeport was a blast. I did not book anything through the ship we did our own investigating before we went on the cruise. I found everything to do at this place called Ocean Motion the cab drivers all know how to get there. They have everything to do there in one place and cheaper than the ship charges. The beaches were white and the water clear!!! It was so beautiful there we did not want to leave we almost missed our ship. I never found crowds of people, plenty of places to stretch out. The ship was the same way never found crowds unless a show just let out.

Nassau was just as fun we did the dolphin encounter I booked it my-self before going about 20 bucks cheaper than the ships price per person. $75 each. Well worth it though even bought the video. Blue Lagoon Island is breath taking must have used a whole roll of film there. I have never seen colors of blue like there. This is a must if you like this kind of thing we did!

All in all what can I say but this cruise was Great! The day we got back we were looking at carnivals cruises to the Caribbean for 7 days we are going on the Victory on March 30 of 2003. Be careful you may get hooked on cruising we did. I have been on a lot of vacation trips in my life but this is the tops! I only want to go cruising now! The only way to go on vacation where everybody gets a vacation even dad no driving yea!! I am sure I have left things out so e-mail me with any questions and I or my wife will answer them!
