Carnival Fantasy Cruise Review

Peggy Bolding

Age: 47
Occupation: Accountant
Number of Cruises: 2
Cruise Line: Carnival
Ship: Fantasy
Sailing Date: October 31st, 2002
Itinerary: Bahamas

Food - a lot of it, but little variety and very little flavour. Windows of the Sea is the best choice for most meals.

Rooms - Room Stewarts are great. Be sure and tip these guys they work hard to please you.

Shows - not the best I have seen - very cheesy. Just not what I expected - just not very entertaining.

Nassau - dirty little town with lots of cars and expensive stores selling t-shirts. There are a few bargains, but very few.

Gambling on boat - never heard any winners announced, but heard a lot of losses.

Other Activities - a lot of dead time unless you drink.

Kids on Board - too many for me and they were always in the pool. Kids are not suppose to be in the hot tub, adult pool, or casino - but they were there.

Camp Carnival - the kids have to go thru a bar with people drinking and smoking to get to the kids area - not a good thing.

Value - good cruise for first timers at a low price, but dont have high expectations.
