This was a first cruise experience for the family. First of all in deciding what
cruise line to take we found that carnival was the one that we could get all
five of us in one cabin. This was important to us as we have 3 kids 9,10,12 yrs
old. We had plenty of room for all of us I was worried about this at first but
soon found out you don't spend a lot of time in there anyway.
The ship staff was very helpful never had trouble finding someone was always
around. The camp carnival staffing was great. They helped us out with our son
who has special needs as he is austic they gave us a pager to keep in touch. Was
really very pleased with the programs for our daughter who turned 13 while on
the ship. She had the best birthday ever she was kept busy from morning till the
wee hours of the moring. This was very well supervised for the teens to have
this kind of fun without parents needing to worry.
The food on board was very good in the main dining rooms. Was not impressed with
the casual buffet of windows on the sea. The food was bland and did know what I
was eating half the time.
We took the dolphin encounter at the blue lagoon the kids were completely
thrilled with this it was worth it just to see the happiness in their faces.
We look forward to crusing with carnival again can't wait till we can book our
net cruise.
