Itinerary: Bahamas

It was my first cruise, I didn't know what to expect, I have to say that I was estactic when I first got on the boat because I didn't believe that it was humanly possible for anyone to make such a monster of boat with that much room, activities, amenities in it. We departed from Port Caranveral on a Thursday after noon in January, the date is still unclear. I immediately fell in love with the fantasy. The crew was very friendly and warm. The food was great. We docked in the Bahamas 7:00 am the next morning. It was beautiful.

We had a great breakfast, which was the best meal of the day, I think. Then we were off to explore Nassau. The trip back to Port Canaveral was the least pleasant because the boat seemed like it was rushing trying to get us back on time. It was swaying back & forth. It was uncomfortable. My husband got sick because of all the motion. We were quickly running out of things to do on the boat. It was limited; after shopping, it you weren't a gambler, there weren't anything left to do.

By the time we got off the boat, I was ready. I don't think I could've stayed on that particular boat another night. Now I know that Carnival has other boats that have a lot more room than the fantasy and are more up to date. I didn't know that at first. I probably would've chosen the Carnival Triumph for vacation. But anyways for the most part I enjoyed the cruise. If I had to do it again, I would. Although the Fantasy would probably be my least favorite boat to go on.
