This was the first cruise for my husband and I and and we really enjoyed it! The crew and all staff were very friendly and the service was wonderful. Our cabin steward was great and very helpful.

Boarding was a breeze. We had all of our required paperwork and documents so there were no problems. We arrived at Port Canaveral at 11:30 a.m. and by 12:15 p.m. we were sipping on drinks at the bar on the Empress Deck. You couldn't go to your room until after 1:30 p.m., but we were okay with that.

The first night was a bit rough and the you could feel the ship rolling through the rough waters. After that night it was smooth sailing.

We didn't really take in any shows on Fantasy. Everything was scheduled pretty late and we had early morning excursions so we skipped the shows.

We did some shopping on board and at the different ports and it was great!
The food was good and there was plenty of it!

We do not have children, but there were many children cruising on the Fantasy. The Camp Carnival Director really does a great job of putting together activities for the kids. One day there was a scavenger hunt for the kids and they looked like they were having so much fun!

Grand Turk was beautiful, but I was quite disappointed to see the large amounts of litter that existed on the sides of the roads that we traveled to get to our excursion. We decided to try the Clear Bottom Kayaking and Snorkeling Excursion and we had a blast! This is such a beautiful place, I hope that the litter problem is addressed.

Half Moon Cay was gorgeous and we really enjoyed our time there! The water was cool and crystal clear, ust a beautiful island! We didn't sign up for any excursions on Half Moon Cay and we spent the day enjoying the beach and the water and the Pina Coladas!

Nassau was great! We went on the Thriller Powerboat to Blackbeard's Cay and spent the day on the beach. It was, again, a beautiful place and we got another chance to relax. My husband and I have been to Nassau before (Paradise Island). We stayed 10 days at the Atlantis Resort and it was a little slice of heaven!!! At that time, the straw market looked pretty bad, but they have cleaned up that entire area and it was really great to visit this time! We paid a visit to Senor Frogs and had a great time before we headed back to the ship.

Debarkation was a little trying, but not too terribly bad. You are asked to be out of your room by 8:00 a.m. and given several areas in which to wait. Finally, at 9:45 a.m., we were allowed to begin exiting the ship. We had all of our required documents in hand, as requested, and it was a breeze. We did not carry our luggage off of the ship with us, we left it outside of our door for the Carnival crew to debark for us. There were no problems with our luggage after exiting the ship. We walked straight to our luggage and then had a porter gather our things and we breezed through customs, without having to wait in line (the porters can get you out much faster so I recommend using one - it's worth the tip, which is not required, but is common courtesy!) By 10:00 a.m. we were driving out of the parking lot at Port Canaveral.

Overall, we had a great trip and would consider going again! I can't really compare this ship to others because this was my first cruise; however, I can say that the crew were very helpful in calming the nerves of a very nervous first time cruiser.
