My family was pleasantly surprised. The food was better than I expected and I'm pretty hard to please. We were impressed with the high standards of sanitation. The kids had a great time the couple of times they went to Camp Carnival. We were disappointed that we were unable to go to Halfmoon Cay due to rough waters (which I guess is pretty common) but they made up for it by taking us to an alternative port in Freeport, Bahamas. Doing it over again, we'd rather take a cruise where there are docks at port (rather than taking a smaller boat to get to an island and risk the port getting cancelled).

Better than expected. There are alternative places to eat if you don't like what they have at a certain restaurant. I did get a little tired of the college dorm feel going to the buffet but I think you'll get that on any cruise.

My family of 4 (kids are 9 and 6) fit fine in the room but as they get older we will outgrow the room. We had 1 upper bed and a rollaway in addition to the king-sized bed. There was an occasional sewage smell in the bathroom (most of the time it was fine).

Good, though we had an issue where there were some partiers playing beer bong on the ping pong table. My kids wanted to play. I had to ask a staff member twice to ask them to leave. Otherwise, the activities themselves were fun.

Don't miss the pirate museum in Nassau. It is hidden and easy to miss!

A lot of fun. I got a little tired of the doors banging at night but earplugs can resolve that.
