Name of Ship: Fascination
Sailing Date: January 17th, 2003
Itinerary: Bahamas

There were pros and cons on the cruise. Pros: The food and dining room service were excellent. Robert and Marina were terrific waiters. We shared the dining room table with very nice people. The room was very good and service for care of the room was excellent. The Coconut Grill had excellent food, pizza and wonderful hot chocolate. Service there was great too. The fitness center was first class and weight lifting equipment was excellent and all of it worked well. Most everything on the cruise in general went well. Airline connections and transfers made by Carnival were very good. Cons. The TV set in the room was very old and reception was terrible. The Jacuzzi's on deck were only luke room and we couldn't use them. I complained about this to the Purser but nothing was done. I got the feeling the Pursers were there to take complaints but were not really responsive to passengers. The life jacket training program where you have to sit and wait took way too long and was a drag. Checkout from the cruise ship took way too long also. You waste about two hours. I received a $50 coupon but Carnival would not honor it. Carnival is very difficult to deal with when it comes to money issues.
