Boarding was a little lengthy but we were a little
early. Our cabin was great and so was our steward. So friendly and always there
to help. The beds were so comfortable.
Our waiter was Pedro he was so funny. They earn the $10.00 a day tips that are
split between a lot of people.
Our cruise was diverted to Progresso also. I see that this has been happening a
lot and with the same reason that we were told to repair the propeller. We had a
lot of rocking the first day and the last day was really rough with high winds.
I thought Progresso would be awful because the first place the bus takes you to
is not very clean looking. We took the city bus from the pier which is free--and
were told about excursions that were so much cheaper than on the ship. We took a
$25 tour to an all inclusive with a great pool and beach with all your drinks
included. The guide told you about different things about the area. We saw a lot
of pink flamingos It also took you to the ruins but we were having so much fun
we missed the bus. Shop at their market too because it is so much cheaper than
Cozumel.
In Cozumel we took a snorkeling trip. We booked it at the pier. It took us to 2
reefs and it was beautiful. We shopped when we got back and went to Senior
Frogs. Unless you are a party animal you will not like this place. A little too
wild for me.
The small size of the ship made it easy to meet people. We met some really great
people and had a really good time. There were things that were annoying like the
piano bar being so smoky and the ship rocking and swaying but nothing to dampen
our fun—not even a brief bout of seasickness. Nothing fancy just comfortable.
