If you enjoy being trapped in a Wal-Mart and like being Nicholed and Dimed for everything then this is the cruise for you.

The ship is dated, the clientele less then glowing and the hard sell is enforce on this boat.

While the crew tries to keep the ship clean they constantly seem to be picking up after the primarily snobbish passengers who seem to think that they can just pick up a plate of food and then leave it in the corner of the elevator or the like. As further proof of the clientele attracted to this boat - we witnessed one older gentleman steal not just one, but two bottles of Soy Sauce (last I looked, you could get that for $1.39 in the market).

Riding on a Carnival ship is like being in one big infomercial. From the second you get on they are pushing one deal of another, but what they don't tell you is that there is tons of small print. For instance, everyone on board is asked to fill out a survey and asked to give high marks. Everyone filling a survey out is then eligible for a free cruise. This is only half true: if you win you are then entered into the semi-finals for a cruise. The spa is operated the same way. You are offered a 50% discount for going to the art action, only to find out that you have to pick one of only 3 packages valued at over 250.00! Not much of a deal especially for a spa team that seems more like indentured servants then happy helpful spa employees.
