This was my wife's first cruise and my third. Check-in was smooth and quick, but we were a tad early (1PM). We were told that our cabin will not be ready until 1:30. That was no problem so we went to the grill on the lido deck and had lunch out side. At 1:45 we went to our cabin, and surprise, our luggage was waiting for us. We had an outside cabin, and I have nothing negative to say about it. It was clean with plenty of storage. The shower had great water pressure. The bed was the best I've slept in! Our room steward was friendly and went out of his way for us.

The ship is a bit dated but they keep it clean! The Lido "resort" pool is far too small, and the "fun day at sea" was far too crowded. The wait staff kept the drinks flowing. The food is okay at best. We only ate in the Pride dinning room once. I had the steak, and my wife had the fish. My wife prefers to eat outside, so we took the rest of our meals at the buffet grill. There is always something to eat. There is a late night sandwich bar and 24 hour pizza bar. We really did not watch much, if any entertainment, but the one show that my wife and I saw was outstanding. We spent our nights dancing, from one bar to another, and back again. For some peace and quiet there is a small cigar bar, and a small section at the stern for adults only. During the day we spent most of the time on the lido deck.

One drawback was that it was too expensive. For first timers, you better stay with an on-board excursion
