This was such a wonderful experience. Every year the "ladies" in my family take a short 4 day cruise just to have some fun. I admit, after hearing about Carnival's reputation as being a "party" ship I did not have really high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at just how wonderful of a cruise this was. I have previously been on RCCL and the staterooms on this ship have RCCL beaten by far. Everything was so clean, and we had so much space. My room on Royal Carribean was so small I couldn't even unpack, I just had to stow my suitcase under my bed. There were 3 closets in the room, and even cubbies for your shoes. While our room steward did not go to the lengths to acknowledge us personally like they did on RCCL, we did not lack for anything in our room.

Aside from the room, the ship was very clean, and anytime you walked around, there was always someone cleaning. The food by the poolside buffet was great. I really recommend the Mongolian Barbeque, and the hamburgers were always fresh. Our waiter at dinner was fun and very efficient. I loved that the waiters all danced every evening or sang. The price of the pictures that they take was much more reasonable, as well as costs of some beverages. Overall, the cruise was very laid back and the entertainment was geared at making you relax. It was very fun!

The food was good. There could have been more selections offered at dinner, but anything you ordered was good.
