We had a fantastic time! The ship is beautiful and there is no shortage of fun things to do. I wouuld definitely recommend this cruise.

The food was pretty good overall. Our formal meals in the dining room were very good; there was a something for everyone available on the menu. The deserts were out of this world! The food on the several buffets available through out the ship were not nearly as fantastic. Although there was a pretty good variety, most of the food was very bland and all seemed to be served at room temperature. The 24 hour pizza and ice cream was a big hit with my husband and stayed pretty busy the entire time we were on the ship.

Our interior stateroom was absolutely beautiful! We heard horror stories about how terrible our room would be from past cruisers but I am happy to say they were all wrong. The size and decor were well above and beyond what we were expecting! Our room had a king sized be in it (two twins pushed together) and still left plenty of room to walk around. It was probably one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in away from home. We had three huge closets and four drawers to store clothing and other items and room under the bed to store suitcases. The bathroom was also really nice. Although the shower was small, it had plenty of room to move around in and had great water pressure.

There was so much to do onboard that we had a hard time deciding which activites to attend. The stand up comedians were my favorite, as well as the dance parties outside on the Lido Deck. The also did a really good job of keeping the other guests children busy and out of sight most of the time. The Serenity Deck was also one of our favorite places to hang out. The peace and quite and upgraded amenities were fabulous!

We booked a snorkeling excursion but were disappointed to find out it was canceled due to rough seas. Unfortunately, we did not find this out until we got off the ship and wandered around for an hour trying to find our group. There were no representatives from the Tour Group or the ship to let us know what was going on. We found out from another cruiser that also had their excursion canceled. Carnival was very apologetic and refunded our money immediately.

We will definitly book another cruise through Carnival. Not sure if we will go back to Cozumel again, really not that impressed, but will look into heading east for the next one!
