This was the first cruise my husband and I have taken and I realize I shouldn't judge all cruises by our one experience but we travel occasionally and have been to to pretty nice places and had some great times so we thought that we would try this with some friends that have cruised before and I have to say that this will be our last cruise. We have vacationed in some pretty nice resorts and spent alot less and had a great time. This was a 3 day cruise if you can call it that. The moment you board you are bombarded with photographers and after a flight to the port and carrying luggage all you want to do is put it down but don't forget to stop and smile because you won't do a thing without someone taking your picture . I knew my friends said not to worry about your stateroom because you won't be in it to much, well that was the only place you can find some piece and quiet but that is only if you have earplugs especially at night, even though we did not visit the lounge we didn't even have to get dressed ,our bed thumped all night long and the hallways were full of lots of party goers and they were usually there till 4 or 5 in the morning .That might not be so bad but when you consider that you are sleeping in a box(how I felt) there really is nowhere to go to escape. There was an aroma of pot in the air I guess from the teens down the hall oh but then they were all around. Then there is the matter of guest services that we visited quiet often. We started out with 100.00 to feel our way through and if you drink beer and we did well that calculates to 24.?? for 4 16oz. and gratuity is added . Cokes are not free , they average 2.00 a drink and we spent a total of 400.00 and I THINK i got a buzz once it was so brief i'm really not sure because every time we received our bill we were told that we needed to visit guest services to add more money. The last night we added 100.00 and got 20.00 in tokens to play in arcade only to find that the next morning when we ckd out that there was no money on our account shocking but true. Now in all fairness I will say that there is always a deck hand ready and willing to serve you and they will make sure you are up and ready by 6:30 the day of check-out because you are getting off that ship if they have to carry you because we were out of our room by 8:30 but they opened our door(without knocking) 4 times to make sure. Our destination was the Bahamas and we have flown there and to the Dominican Republic and the beaches are wonderful and we have stayed at top resorts ALL inclusive spent less money and had wonderful views and that is the way we will go from this day forward,oh and one more thing that 3 day cruise the last night you can forget most of the deck because they are cleaning them so be sure to take in the shows but be sure and smile all the time in 3 days there will be a entire deck dedicated to photos of all that fun you were having taking photos. My advice take a plane find a nice resort where you can do what you want when you want eat where you want and still have a great time. this was very disappointing loud and a waste of my money and time. Please take the time to do your research and ask everyone you can I did after the fact and I could have saved myself the trouble. This was our first and our last!!!!!

Food was good

Small, cramped, clean, and DARK.

Highly overrated.

First and last
