I had been on a cruise but it was my husbands first
time.
We flew in to Miami the night before so that we would be sure not to miss the
boat as my first time I almost missed the ship when our flight was delayed. I
highly suggest that you arrive the night prior to your ship departing.
The port was crazy when we arrived and the lines took forever but we finally got
on the boat and were ready for a relaxing vacation.
The port were great Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios being our favorites. We swam with
the sting rays in Cayman and were awed by the amount of sting rays we saw. My
only complaint about Grand Cayman was how expensive everything was there Ouch!
Ocho Rios was spectacular. We took a champagne catamaran cruise to the falls.
This cruise was a little more than the other boats but well worth the money we
had plenty of room on board unlike the other boats. We were served fruit,
champagne, and even got a foot massage on the way back. The falls were great.
Bring a waterproof camera for this activity as you get soaked climbing the
falls.
The food on board was average I would say. I preferred the buffet to the
actually restaurants on the ship.
If you are a big drinker I suggest you smuggle some on as drinks are like $6.00
dollars which adds up quickly.
Overall we had a great time and are already looking into booking our next
cruise.
