My wife, my daughter (18), and I chose carnival cruises for vacation this year and we certainly have no regrets, but a few minor complaints. We cruised the Fantasy last year and we decided this year to take in Key West & Cozumel on the Imagination this year. This was my daughter's first cruise and her first glimpse at this huge ship... the size took her breath away. The ship was totally sold out on this cruise and I became a bit irritated at all the uncontrolled and totally rude children on board. Actually, the children were not the only rude people on board, the adults could use a little courtesy lesson also. On several occasions, women who apparently were much hungrier than I would burst directly in front of me. I also was not impressed with the cabin stewardess on this cruise. Our room was never entirely cleaned and we did not receive the complimentary basket of goodies. We were informed that there was shortage and they were dispensed to every other cabin. I think next time, we'll cruise another line just to see if a bit more money will get us a bit better and more sophisticated vacation.
