Carnival Imagination Cruise Review

Bill Golan

Age: 36
Occupation: Fire Fighter
Number of Cruises: 2
Cruise Line: Carnival
Ship: Imagination
Sailing Date: April 16th, 2005
Itinerary: Western Caribbean

This is my second cruise, the first being the Legend. The Legend was awesome so I had high expectations. Embarkation was quick and smooth in Miami. The Imagination was not as clean as the Legend. We were told that due to propulsion problems that they could not make port and would be going to Cozumel instead. They gave us $100 ship board credit per person and 25% of the next cruise by December 15, 2006.

The food on the cruise was not that great. Some staff on the cruise had attitudes when asked for something.

Stayed in room M210. Our Cabin Steward was lousy! He never replaced anything that was used in the room. (Coke, Towels)

We had to keep calling him to get things. On the last night he double bagged the pillow case so he would only have to pull 1 off and be ready for the next guests. Cozumel was great and would go back there. Debarkation took forever. It took us about 2 1/2 hrs to get off the ship.
I would never go on the Imagination again. I will stick to the newer ships.
