Cruise Line: Carnival
Ship: Imagination
Sailing Date: July 29th, 2004
Itinerary: Western Caribbean

This was my 3rd cruise (2nd with Carnival). It was my boyfriends first cruise. This by far was the best cruise I've taken.

Embarkation: Went very smoothly, we were at the terminal by 11:00 and was the first ones on the boat by 11:45.

The Boat: The boat is very clean. There is always someone wiping, sweeping,or dusting something. The ship is very bright and flashy.

The crew: This is the first time I can say that all of the crew on this ship were outstanding. Everytime we walked by someone who worked on the ship day or night we were always greeted with a hello, good morning ect. Very Very Friendly people.

Our Cabin Steward was Maung he was outstanding as well and alot of fun.

Food: My only complaint is that the food in the dining room was not that great. We tried the dining room twice. The food was way overcooked. After the second time we ate in the Horizon Bar & Grill for the rest of the trip. The food there was outstanding. No complaints.

We were on the cruise that did not make it to Key West due to port construction. I do believe Carnival should have offered some kind of compensation for this, as they did not.

Cozumel: When we arrived at cozumel. It was beautiful. Better than I had expected. I have been to Naussau before and was expecting cozumel to be on the same lines. Not the case. We did the fiesta party boat that took us to Playa Mia. We partied our butts off and meet some really fun people.

After the excursion we went to Charlos N Charlies. This is by far the best bar I think I've ever been in. We had so much fun. If you go to Cozumel, make sure Carlos N Charlies is on your list of things to do there. (Get ready to party your butts off)

When we got back to the ship we partied on deck with our new friends and had a blast. I only wish Carnival would keep the hot tubs open later at night for adults.

Overall this was the best cruise this far and we are already planning another with Carnival in April.
