We went on the 5 day cruise for our honeymoon. We chose the Inspiration due to the location, as we were spending a couple days @ Disney after the cruise. We stayed in the Royal Suite. U70 was our cabin. Our room was beautiful. Exactly as it is pictured on the web site. The bed has goose down comforters, and the bed was very cozy. The sitting area is large and comfortable. I loved our balcony! It was huge. I spent alot of time out there, soaking up the sun and watching out over the water. We always had a great view of the Ports without all the crowding on the main decks to get pictures. Our cabin steward was very good. Our room stayed clean and well stocked. Only downfall to the room was that on the first night there was a sewage smell, they attended right to it though, and it didn't come back. Also there is the main lobby right above the row of suites on the Upper Deck. Not sure why they would do this, one day there was so much activity upstairs that I woke up thinking there was a thunderstorm outside! And this was @ 7:30 in the morning.
The food was good, but not as good as I had read in other reviews. I am picky though, so don't go too much on my thoughts on food. I'm not much on buffets, but they were decent. I loved the salad buffet. I ended up eating a lot of salads! And pizza, that is really good. Room service menu is a little limited during the day, its more of a late night menu, just sandwiches and such. We ate @ the late seating in the Mardi Gras room. Our table was in a great location, and we loved our table mates. They were all couples about our same age, from states that all bordered each other. The food here was pretty good too. I don't eat sea food and a lot of their menu is sea food. But they always offered a beef or chicken entree as well.
The little shows they put on for you are great! They definately make sure you have a good time. The pool areas are crowded, but we had a full ship so I expected that. I went to a few of the shows and clubs on the ship. They are very popular on the ship, and fun to do. The casino was a little dull. We spent a few hours there the night we sailed out, and not much was happening.
We stopped in Grand Cayman first. We were only there from 7am-2pm so there was only time for one excursion and lunch. We went to Sting Ray City of course. That was so much fun. The water in the Caymans is breathtaking. The sandbar is huge, and several boats dock there with the stingrays @ one time, yet no one is crowded. They are so cute, and very friendly. The picture they take of you kissing the sting ray is $20 for 1 or $30 for 3 pics and they put it on a disk. So having a water proof camera with you would be smart. I could of gotten a lot more pictures for less.
In Cozumel we stayed for 12 hrs, and were able to do 2 excursions and shop and relax in between on the boat. I love Cozumel! It is so much fun. We went on the Unlimited Snorkel in the morning. This was great. The water is warm and clear, you can see so far down. They have a cantina on the beach for when your done you can have drinks and lunch before heading back to the ship. After resting up and having lunch back on the ship, we went shopping until it was time to go on the Sunset Horseback in the Mayan Jungle. This is SO much fun. Those guys from the ranch make sure you have plenty to do. After the ride you have dinner and drinks in the Cantina. Boy do they know how to have a good time. There was so much to drink and eat. They put on a dance for you, have a BBQ, do a Pinata and get you DRUNK! I would go on that excursion again when I come to Cozumel. The shopping is a blast too. They all offer shots of liquor to come in and shop. The 5 days flew by too fast. I cant wait to go on another cruise.
