Just got off the boat yesterday and advise anyone who has a cruise booked on this boat to change your plans now!

Our first clue that the Jubilee was not being kept up should have been the smell... as soon as we boarded, the stench was overwhelming... raw sewage.

Our second clue about the decline of the ship should have been the oppressive heat upon entering the boat. Now it was hot in Galveston the day we boarded but one would (and should) expect the ship to be at least a few degrees cooler. Of course the fan placed in our stateroom prior to our arrival also set off some alarm bells as did the floor fans set up in various places around the ship.

Requests for various items were me with "I'm sorry but that doesn't seem to be working now." or "We don't have the water pressure to operate that now." It wasn't until we found out that the ship had been sold that we came to understand that Carnival is treating the Jubilee like a step child and not putting any resources into upkeep.

All in all the ship has been allowed to fall into disrepair, is dirty, smells of sewage, serves sub par meals ( I actually lost weight) and treated complaints with a shrug. I would seriously think about calling Carnival or your travel agent and either change ships or request a discount so that when you return you will not feel so lousy about spending as much money to stay aboard what can only be described as a ship on its last leg.
