After taking an Alaskan Cruise in May with
my wife on NCL, my eldest daughter was eager to get her time at sea. We
scrambled to get a Christmas Cruise for the whole family. We booked a Carnival
Cruise out of Galveston (about 200 miles from our home in Central Texas)
on the Jubilee.
All I can say about the cruise is the entire family had a blast. We stayed in
the Verandah V-7 with a balcony. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very
friendly. The food was excellent. Everything ran on time as well. Our waiter
Nickoli (I hope that spelling is correct) was great and made meal time fun. Our
Cruise Director Mark Hawkins was great as well. We had a great time.
Okay there had to be some negatives. The first negative was that the life boat
blocked part of the view from our balcony. The second was that the cruise had to
end. We had a good time.
My family has booked another trip on the Jublilee this summer basically the same
trip but a 5 day instead of a 4 day. It is nice having this service in Galveston
as opposed to having to fly to a distant port! Great Job Jubilee!
