My husband and I just returned from a fantastic cruise on the Jubilee. I had done my homework before the trip and read many reviews . I was a little worried at first because some of the reviews were not great. However, I decided I would wait and see for myself. The experience was a great one for first time cruisers. My husband and I kept busy going to all the activites we could go to. Chris, the cruise director was wonderful and very energetic. Our waiters were Joel and Yulton. They were friendly and made you feel so special. Our steward kept our room so clean and we loved the towel animals. We had a elephant, a dog, and a rabbit. They were adorable and we took photos of each one. Our Maitre'D was Gabriel and he was most entertaining.
The food was great in the Dining room and we also had Pizza and burgers on the Lido deck at mid - day. We were dissapointed because there was a change of itineray due to an engine problem . We didn't make it to Key West and we really wanted to go there. I was not impressed with Freeport but we did go on a snorkel excursion in Freeport and enjoyed that very much.
We decided to make the best of the situation and enjoy everything. Nassau had better shopping than Freeport and we really loved the Atlantis Tour. I would advise you to go on the tour of Atlantis Resort. However, keep in mind there is a lot of walking involved so you need to be ready with comfortable shoes etc. We were very happy with the size of our cabin and had lots of closet space. The bathroom wasn't as small as I had imagined. This was my first cruise and I can't wait to go again. The Broadway show and the Hollywood shows were great too. I was especially impressed with all the hard working staff members on the Jubilee. These fine young people work long, long hours and have such great attitudes. They are good examples for the youth of today .
