It was definitely a "Fun Ship." All the people I went with said that they had a great time. I had lots of fun! I was hungry. The food was terrible. I felt I was at a cheap buffet and the food had been sitting around for a while. Nothing I had tasted fresh. The staff complained about being on the ship for so long. Many said they just wanted to go home to their families back in their own country. There weren't many smiling staff members. The entertainment was first rate. The bartenders knew how to make just about any type of alcoholic drink and they made them well. The food was awful. I was looking forward to eating sushi and the sushi bar was only opened from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, during the dinner. The food was salty and too many preservatives were used. I went to the dining room for breakfast and ordered eggs benedict on Tuesday. The poached eggs were over done and the hollandaise was crispy. I asked for some french toast instead and it never arrived at the table. We left at 10:10 to catch an excursion. The stateroom was clean and well appointed. Some of the activities were FUN! I loved the slide at the pool and golf. We did avail ourselves of the gym and jogging track. The gal who did the tattoos was the only staff member that was friendly and she even smiled alot. Jana seemed to enjoy her job. Don't miss the wine country tour in Ensenada. The wineries were very generous with their tastings. The Botanical Gardens on Catalina was a waste of money and time. All my clothes still fit me when I arrived home. My friends and I went out for a good dinner the night we arrived in Palm Desert. Other than the FOOD, the trip was great.
