Itinerary: Cozumel and Grand Cayman

Good embarkation and great debarkation. Lunch served when you board. Breakfast while you wait to debark. Debarkation excellent with valet now bringing cars to terminal so you don't have to lug the luggage a block and across a busy street. Great value. Good to excellent food. Only reservation is about the retrofitted cabin. A disaster in my experience. See below.

Food ranges from good to excellent. Seconds and even thirds of anything are readily served upon request. Shrimp cocktail no longer offered daily.

Carnival offers one of the largest cabins. The Paradise was just retrofitted. Bathroom had a medicine cabinet with doors added. Very nice. Rest of cabin a disaster. The bed is no longer high enough to stow your luggage. Have to put it into a closet. Life preservers were stowed in closet. Now stowed in big box (about 2 ft square) in corner under TV. Not able to walk to window. Only way to get out of bed at night if you're by the window is to crawl down your bed over a hard foot board. Very inconvenient. Mattresses very soft. I've sailed on the sister Inspiration 6 times. Enjoyed each one. Not sure I will sail on the Paradise again unless they fix these issues.

Activities adequate for a ship of this size. Not the best shows. Great attention to children.

Been to Cozumel and Grand Cayman many times. Preferred to stay on board and relax on Serenity Deck.

Love cruising. Next trip is on the Legend in March. Carnival gives great value.
