Overall, just spending time with wife and kids was well worth the value, After the Triumph disaster, Carnival cancelled our spring break plans but my quick thinking wife finally found the paradise! Ships going out of New Orleans and Galveston filled up immediately the day we got the bad news! The other families with us also managed to book unto the same ship! Yay!! Sailing with great friends and families makes our spring break vacations memorable! Hate to say it but if I was to win the lotto tomorrow, I would book with Carnival AGAIN! Been on other cruise ships but I'm a firm believer that you make your vacation as good as you make it out to be! Got back on a Saturday, booked for next year Monday!

Dining was wonderful, our head waiter was not bad, it's just we have had better ones in the past, I did request a Filipino dish for the last night and I must say it was very tasty and several in our group tried it and loved it!

Room service around midnight was great especially the fajita wrap! Mongolian Wok was so so but still good, Pizza in the back was great according to the kiddos, we ate some breakfast in the dining room and it was very good but it was as good in the lido deck and Paris too. I only had the flat iron steak one night but it was good, the formal night, they served lobster and I had a couple servings of it, can't go wrong with the cocktail shrimp! Cheesecake at the dining was as good as the midnight room service snacks too!

Due to carnival canceling the triumph on us, we received a 25% discount also, we wanted a balcony like we had already reserved but the paradise did not have any unless you got a grand suite, for an extra $168 along with our refunded money and 25 percent we tried the suite! It was nice and a lot more roomier than a regular balcony room but I'm okay with the regular balcony for the next cruise! Ben (Filipino bald guy) was our room attendant and kept our rooms very clean, he kept our belongings untouch and we even left some cash out and was not bothered! Tip: go to Walmart and buy a dozen or so wire hangers and pack it with your stuff, it worked out awesome for our hang up clothes! We always seem to over pack too!!

The show with the country songs was good but me and the wife noticed that the girl was lipsyncing, not impressive, went to a couple of game shows and a comedy act, but spent a lot of time in the casino,!! Played with their money for most of the trip too, played the video poker machines by the cashier, my wife tough lost all her money on the blackjack tables!! Cashed out last night with their $100!

Been to the Grand Caymans a couple of times and first time on the sevenmile beach! Not impressed, especially when the corals were 40 feet away and you could not walk on them or swim over them, we loved the snorkeling the barrier reef in the past! Well worth the money, In Cozumel, we have done several through carnival but this past was the first on our own, $100 could rent you a convertible jeep, we drove to another part of the island and then turned around and stopped at a all inclusive resort called Mr. Sanchos! $50 per adult and it was cheaper for the kiddos, but you had to pay extra to use their watersports! $65 per person to parasail which my wife and son enjoyed!

Drinks there were awesome and the list was bigger than any resort I've been too, there food menu was also good and the best thing was it was all authentic! After a couple of hours on the beach, our huge group then had fun in their pool with the swim up bar, THEY LOST Money on our group because we drank and ate like kings and queens!!

Next time in Cozumel we advised you to pay $18/for 4 people taxi ride and make your way to MR SANCHOS!!!

Awesome and See ya next spring break! Carnival Sunshine be afraid! be very afraid!
