I just wanted to voice my opinion about this
beautiful ship. After reading many negative reviews about the Paradise, I was
truly second-guessing my choice. However, I must inform you that this ship was
awesome. The staff was extremely polite; they went out of their way to
accommodate you. There was always plenty to do on the ship so you never felt
obligated to get off while in Port. The food was good; not great, but good. I
look at it this way.... I didn't have to cook it, serve it, or even clean the
table after eating it. That alone makes it palatable.
I also want to stress that if you get the opportunity to splurge; then I highly recommend booking a suite on deck 6 of this boat. I traveled with two other friends and we had a category 11 room. Let me tell you, it was SPECTACULAR!!!!!! Not only did the room have a king size bed, it had an L-shaped couch that opened up into a full sized bed, a mini-bar, balcony, walk-in closet that we referred to as our dressing room and the bathroom was fit for a king. It even had a "Jacuzzi". Every time you walk into a room like this you smile; I guarantee it.
The only thing I would not recommend is the "Express Checkout" if you have an early flight. The entire process took us close to an hour; waiting in a long line with everyone and their luggage. What a nightmare. If we had only waited in our room an extra 1/2 hour we would have avoided this chaos.
Other than that, the embarkation was easy and the rest of the debarkation process was a breeze.
Enjoy!
