Let me start by saying this ship has the most friendly crew I have ever had on a ship! Let's start with the ship. The ship was very nice, not the best but defiantly not the worst. Embarkation very easy if you get there early (by 10:30 a.m.) and check in at early check in you will be on the ship by noon having lunch by the pool. Lets talk about food. I would get a grade of a b- They need to have better variety, but I will say what they do have is very good. Dining room staff was very very good. Best part of the dining experience. I cruised with my two children ages (7&5) and the staff was wonderful with my kids which by the way is my main reason for choosing carnival. Speaking of children, camp Carnival is the best children's program on the seven seas!!!!! My kids begged me as soon as they got out of bed to go to camp carnival.

Entertainment on board was a b+. Vegas quality shows, but not Broadway. When going ashore in Catalina by all means rent a golf cart and take a tour of the island, this is the best way to see everything and a lot of fun also. Going ashore in Mexico take the tour to La Bufadora well worth the 1/2 trip, but don't buy the ship tour, buy them from local companies in town (MUCH CHEAPER)! Your day at sea gives you a chance to a lot of activities on board that you may miss on other days while ashore.

Disembarking the ship is a little rough, but go with the flow and fun. P.S. for anyone that enjoys Cuban cigars you can get them in Mexico and they will switch labels for you so you can bring them back to the U.S. I'm puffing on one right now as I right this and it is pure satisfaction! I could go on forever, but the end result is this is a very nice cruise, especially for family's and a very good value for your money. All in all your cruise is what you make of it so relax, have a good time and go with the flow!!!!!!!! Any questions you have I would be happy to answer, just e-mail me! Have a great vacation
