This was my first cruise and my husbands second. I absolutely loved it! He let me book everything so he would not be held liable ha ha. Read the rest of the review as I did buy excursions (way too much $$$) my room was awesome. Other than all the kids, (I didn't want couple only but man, were there lots of kids) I would definitely book Carnival again but not during a school break. We are going to take our daughter for her 21st birthday in two years.

Also, The PEOPLE WHO STAY ON THE ELEVATOR after people get off DO NOT HOLD THE DOORS (read below)

The food was good, gourmet..no, but what I expected for the price. We ate in the Fantasy Dining Room and our servers were exceptional, I think we were lucky because "Cool Guy" and Luciano made our meals enjoyable, hopefully all diners were as lucky! The dress coed was less formal than I was led to believe but that was okay, because we didn't want to bring formal attire and didn't.

It was much bigger than expected and was a Ocean View with a window, I would do that again or maybe with a private balcony, just not a porthole. It was clean and everything in working order, beds were extremely comfortable and with ocean view rooms you get these wonderful robes AWESOME! We received clean fresh large beach towels every evening for the next day. We were lucky our room steward would make different towel animals and although it was just my husband and I and we are 50, it was fun and enjoyable and we took pictures of them!

The shows were good, and the comedy and magic acts. I was bummed that there was such a small space for adults and 2 small jacuzzi's. There should be a large pool for adults only, because we had 640 kids on our cruise and the one small pool was filled with them...also was the jacuzzi over there, at least they did have 2 small jacuzzi s for adults but they needed to be larger. I think the spa (unless you take advantage of the managers special) was way over priced, I did use the managers special but wouldn't have if they didn't have that and I go to a spa once a month at home so I do know the prices. I think there needed to be more adult fun games, not just karaoke and a hairy chest contest!

Excursions are too expensive get a cab for Freeport beach and shopping day for $5- definitely not worth the $45. I paid and then they take you at 9:30 and return you at 1:30, we stayed and paid the $5 for a cab because the sun came out at 1. We got back in time by 4:30 a half hour earlier that we were supposed to.

Nassau, take the water taxi to Atlantis it is only $12 as opposed to a cab for $24 then you pay your fees to enter etc... the ships was too expensive, same for the beach, cab is expensive, take the water taxis!

The PEOPLE WHO STAY ON THE ELEVATOR after people get off DO NOT HOLD THE DOORS so therefore the doors close pretty fast. Middle of the cruise I was tired that 4 elevators passed us by on the ship because as soon as people got off the doors started closing and no on would hold them open. It was 8:30 a.m. we had breakfast and had coffee in our hands along with excursion tickets, well, I stuck my foot in the 5th elevator (the 3 people left on just stood there an watched, never held open the door or tried to open it) and stuck my foot in to hold it, well the doors closed too hard and fast, therefore I HAVE TWO BROKEN TOES. I did not go to the ships medical as you pay out of pocket and then you haggle with your insurance company after your return to get it paid.
