This was our first cruise and we had read some good and bad reviews so we really didn't know what to expect. This cruise exceeded our expectations in all ways. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and I really wanted things to go well for my wife... EVERYTHING was perfect. We had NO bad experiences at anytime during the cruise.

We tried pretty much everything available, and there is plenty to choose from, and did not have one bad experience with the food. In fact after the cruise was headed over to Orlando and Disney World and was disappointed with the food there as it was not up to the food quality on the Sensation.
Our waiter for our dinner meals called us by name, knew after the first night what our likes and dislikes were, and offered excellent suggestions on what to order. The night we had lobster, which was the best I have ever had, I was just finishing my lobster when our waiter, Rafael, tapped my on the shoulder and asked if I wanted another!

Bigger than we thought it would be and very comfortable. The staff were constantly making sure everything was clean and perfectly arranged. They also called us by name whenever we met them in the hallway, which was several times a day.
You could leave the room for 30 minutes and when you returned they had already been in to clean up. Absolutely the best service we have ever experienced.

We really enjoyed all the shows which rival anything in Las Vegas. We took in different shows every day and was amazed at the quality. The Serenity Deck was a nice place to get away for a little romance and the sunsets were picture perfect.

We didn't take in any of the Carnival Shore excursions but did take the Taste of Nassau Tour which was very good. We saw all the tourist spots in Nassau and then had lunch in a local restaurant to sample the local food. Also Awesome. Try the conch salad and conch fritters.

Since we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary we really wanted this trip to be memorable but reading some of the online reviews had a little trepidation. Those negative reviews must either be people posting from other cruise lines to make Carnival seem bad or just people that really did have some issues.
We did not have even one negative experience on this 4 day cruise and already looking forward to booking a 7 day cruise in the note too distant future.
Carnival, YOU ROCK ! !
