It was alright, I personally would not sail with Carnival again though. A lot of things disappointed me about the cruise one of which being the price of alcohol. Carnival told us that it was standard bar prices to drink on the ship, which is an utter lie. A beer was 6.00 plus an automatic gratuity of at least a dollar on every drink, so this is putting you at about 7.00 for a domestic beer. Four days of being on ship at these prices really adds up fast. Also for the shore excursions you dont have enough time to really go out and do more than one activity. Our ships departure time was 6pm but what they don't tell you is that you have to be back on the ship by 430, so that really cuts into the day. Also about the excursions I found that you can book essentially any excursion carnival offers when you get to your port for about half the price as well. I booked a snorkeling adventure in Freeport for 40.00 that came with unlimited alcohol and lunch, it was a great time, carnival wanted around 80 for this same thing minus the booze. There are tons of locals that are willing to make deals to get you to excursions and trust me you can about find anything that carnival offers for much cheaper.

The food was really a major disappointment, we were told over the phone that it was comparable to a 4 star restaurant which is NOT the case at all. The formal sit down dinners were an absolute joke, the servings were tiny and the food was just not good, it reminded me of a hospital cafeteria. The buffet that is open for all meals was much better, but still mediocre at best. If you are expecting a few days of exquisite meals and fine dining please, think again because that is not the case.
