Have you ever gone through a hurricane on a cruise ship like this one? Let me tell you....horrifying but what a sight to see! 30 ft. waves overcame our balcony stateroom last month during Hurricane Sandy, which effected our path and detoured us to Key West, what a treat. This was my 7th cruise, 5th with carnival, and would have been my 6th time to Nassau, but we have only taken shorter cruises, such as this one which should have been 3 days. Instead, this became a last minute 4 day cruise as our arrival time to get back to Port Canaveral changed from 7 a.m. sunday morning to 9 p.m. sunday night! Overall, with all the panic and last minute changes made, it was an amazing transition and effort made by the crew. An extra unplanned day at see was fun, entertaining, even though we rocked all day. All of our specialty drinks were totally free, and because we did not get back till after dark, carnival let us stay on board an extra night until monday monday morning! We even got an extra day added on to our cruise points which really helps if your looking to build them with Carnival. Overall, GREAT CRUISE with EXCELLENT SERVICE & ACCOMMODATIONS!!!

Food was average, nothing too special, never ate in the dining room. Best on the menu for sure is the Chocolate Melting Cake for desert!

My stateroom was very clean, love having a balcony, great space in the room for 2 people.

The activities were a little boring i must say...the clubs for teens my age were great(wish they were open more often) but for adults the best entertainment was either the adult club or the shows they had to offer. Other than that gambling, relaxing and eating was what everyone did best!

In Nassau with my experience, Atlantis is THE PLACE TO BE! Beautiful, clean, expensive, but better than the rest of the island. The port is dirty, yes, but the deals, beaches and the culture down there are great to experience. Key West, was a sight to see, so many cool places to visit on Duval st. and historical places as well. Beaches are to die for, barely feel like your still in America!

Just a warning, this particular ship is older, and has a lot of older features which does make it seem like a dirtier or un safe ship but it is kept up nice and is extremely safe! I would recommend this cruise to a small family looking for a weekend get away, singles looking to meet people, a couple wanting to escape, but not for older folk who would rather relax and have quiet!
