This was our first cruise experience and it exceeded our expectations. We have traveled all over, including Hawaii, but this ranks at the top of our list of vacation experiences. The staff on board the ship were all friendly and they always seemed to anticipate our needs. It was nice to go back to our cabin in the evening to find mints on the pillow and the bed turned down. The shows were entertaining and the food in the formal dining room was very good. There are activities all day long as well as food to eat.

We took an island tour on Grand Cayman. The island is small and there is not a lot to do. However, the seven mile beach is beautiful. And, "Hell" is interesting to see. We also booked a snorkeling trip to Stingray City but it was canceled due to rough waters. We hear that Stingray City is something to see.

In Cozumel, we would recommend taking the trip to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. It is also quite interesting. However, you have to take a small boat from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen to get there; if you have a tendency to get seasick, be prepared on this excursion.

The Sensation is the type of cruise ship for people who are looking for an upbeat atmosphere. The ship is called a "fun ship" for a reason. It has a bit of a party atmosphere. If you are someone looking for a stuffy, posh experience, this is not it. Although there were over 300 kids on our ship, we hardly ever saw them thanks to the Camp Carnival program. Overall, a great time.
