We were on the Main Deck and our room was comfortable with ample room for our
luggage, etc. The room was kept clean and room service prompt. We were never
introduced to our room steward/stewardess so I have no idea who they are. The
Dining Team of Raymond and Melcior were great. The rest of the crew and staff
were acceptable. The food was nice, not outstanding. Bring your own coffee maker
because the coffee was awful. I had been warned! The entertainment was okay.
Most of the kids avoided Camp Carnival stating it was boring. Kids loved the
24-hour pizza and deli and the fountain card (good deal). Bring your own books
and magazines. Most of the fun is on the Lido Deck. You can play ping-pong and
listen to the live music which is awesome. We met some really nice people which
was the highlight of the trip. If you are not into drinking and gambling, you
will probably be a little bored on sea days unless you can splurge on a
manicure/pedicure or massage. The gym is really nice and the steam room and
sauna as well and they are free. For those who are into horseback riding on the
beach, it is really fun. Unfortunately, you ride past homeless shacks on the
beach and the horses are not well taken care of (ribs showing) and it makes you
feel guilty riding them. Please don't support Honeysuckle Stables. The beach had
trash on it. The best deal in Cozumel is Chankanaab Nat'l Park. The snorkeling
was great and the food was fantastic! Pancho's Backyard was a disappointment big
time! Someone said it was the best guacamole. It had virtually no spice and was
very bland overall. It's what I call Americanized Mexican food. I hope this
review helps you as much as it did us. We read these reviews and really feel it
was very accurate and informative and we have tried to do the same. Hope it
helps.
