Was invited by Carnival to observe the refurbishment done on the Sensation. There was new carpet and a few minor interior replacements. However I expected the Ship to wow me. When I asked one of the regional sales people about what had been refurbed, she pretty much had no answers and excused herslf (she stated they had a meeting) The damage Carnival has done with its Marketing on this premature sailing of the Sensation has probably cost them more in sales than if they had kept the ship out of commission a few more weeks to get everything done properly. I will not elaborate on all the flaws, becuse not all the problems were do to refurb. The ship just lacked all the importance of details.......just cleanliness to name one. Carnival should be ashamed of its self !!!! I can promise I will never recommmend this cruise line to anyone. I have given Carnival many chances to prove itself.Even a first time cruiser deserves better than this.
