We have been on many Celebrity
cruises in the past but this one was not very good. The food in the dining room
was only so so compared to the Infinity or the Mercury; the service was slow and
we had to ask for salad dressing and drinks several times before they ever came
to the table. The $55 million "improvement" is not that impressive as the state
room that we had was old and many of the upgrades which we did see in the lower
class room were not evident in our stateroom. We had old bathe fixtures and old
mattress when we were told that ALL mattress and bathrooms were upgraded. Our
bath door opened into the bathroom so to hit the commode and block the entrance
and would hit you if you are using it. The balconies in some staterooms have
restricted views, they do not tell you that nor do they price them accordingly;
it is also not disclosed in the brochure. All in all, we would not return to
this ship as there is no value.
