i have cruised to many locations on many different lines and this is the first time i am compelled to write a review. The ship appeared very old even though it had been refurbished months earlier. Very nice to embark early. Champagne served which was a nice treat. Cabins were a great size as were the bathrooms. Dining room food was very good. Breakfast and lunch buffets were not. Not enough variety . Ports of call were fine-- not enough time to do them justice. Charged an 18% Spanish tax because we left from Barcelona. Never told of this prior to trip. Cruise director was not informative- very pompous and nowhere to be found to question about ports of call. Always charged for shuttle service to town from the ship. All bars with one exception(poolside) closed while in port. Absolutely nothing to do. Will not recommend this type of venue or ship.

Food Was very good in dining room. Buffets were not good--boring food choices never anything new.

Stateroom was very clean and the bathroom was exceptional.. Steward was very efficient and kind.

what activities---very old tired music. Cruise director a big bore and pompous.

excursions were good

I love the Mediterranean but to do a cruise does not afford it any justice.. Not enough time to see much.. Maybe if they cut down one port and extend the time in another would help. Villefranche was nice but boring unless you did a booked excursion. The waitstaff, bartenders and cabin stewards are exceptional. Could not be friendlier.

Entertainement- boring.

Celebrity did not do it for me.
