The ship was beautiful, well appointed and immaculate. All the staff we met, except the Chef, were polite, caring and attentive. The food was poor.

Fire the Chef! The food was at best just fair. Clearly Celebrity has made drastic cuts in their food budget and the Chef doesn't care. Breakfast served scrambled eggs made from liquid eggs, sausage that tasted like cardboard and the cheapest canned corned beef. The omelets made to order were ok but were not worth the long wait in line.

Lunch Buffet Hot food was served just barely warm. Obviously they do not know, or care about "Serve Safe" procedures regarding holding food at safe temperatures out of the temperature danger zone. I tried a cold salad of sausage, peppers and eggplant. The sausage was left over breakfast patties and links cut into little pieces – this is a cheap way of reusing product and a very unsafe practice.

Dinner We chose to pay extra one evening and dine at The Tuscan Grill. The food was bland, portions were very small and quality of product served was inferior. I chose the tenderloin filet for my entree and was served a sirloin center cut (baseball style cut) steak, not a tenderloin filet.

In the Main Dining Room one evening I choose the grilled rib eye. Two out of three served at our table were returned as uneatable. The Rib Eye was about ½ inch thick and tasted like old beef. The waiter claimed it was aged beef, no, this was a poor quality grade of beef and it was old. Another evening I chose the salmon entree. I was served a small portion of steamed salmon, maybe 4 ounces, with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The plate looked and tasted like food served at a cheap reception at a Holiday Inn. We were on the ship for St. Patrick's Day and they did not even serve corned beef.

I met the Executive Chef one evening as we entered the theatre. When I stated to him that the food was only fair in quality his response was very defensive, rude, pompas and arrogant. He clearly cannot handle constructive criticism or the truth. His demeanor was condescending and reprehensible! Chef you are not dealing with an ignorant public, we know good food and your food was no good.

Celebrity fire the Chef and put the money into buying decent food without having to dangerously recycle crappy food and lie to passengers about what you are serving. Maybe you could find a new Chef with the talent and personality to reflect your beautiful ship, immaculate staterooms, excellent staff and first class service. Other than the food we had a great cruise! I can summarize our cruise as we boarded in awe and disembarked disappointed.

Very clean, larger than I expected. Our steward was very attentive to anything we needed.

Sorta lame

we did not participate in any organized excursions as we have visited these ports several times in the past and chose to go on our own.
