We have never been disappointed by Celebrity and we weren't disappointed with our trip on the Galaxy. Service, service, service - Celebrity knows how to take care of their customers. Fast, friendly, and accountable: these cruise professionals delivery where other cruise lines promise and fail to deliver. The itinerary was excellent, we docked and departed on time every time, and our airport/cruise terminal transfer process was flawless. We highly recommend Celebrity to anyone who wants dependability and service, a quite, relaxing vacation experience. The ship was very clean and well maintained for an older ship. It was very well laid out and easy to get around on.
The breakfast and lunch food was excellent, the fine dining was inconsistently good to excellent. Two of our ten dinners were not well prepared - but overall the dining serviers were outstanding. Clean and functional. Our stateroon attendant and assistant were outstanding. They were good but not outstanding. The show productions were high school-ish - the individual singer was too much like a Las Vegas Lounge Lizard. The comedian was excellent. We did our own excursions. Stay away from downtown CASTRIES, ST. LUCIA, it's dirty and dangerous. Excursion tours of the island were highly praised by our friends and being outstanding - just stay away from down town CASTRIES. Relaxing, wonderful beaches, snorkling, entertainment and food. And service you will not find on any other cruise line - super!!!
