Itinerary: Panama Canal

The Infinity is a very tired ship in need of significant maintenance...in the stateroom and public areas. In our stateroom, the couch was dirty, the hairdryer was held together with duct tape, a fluorescent light was burned out, there was a hole/soft spot in the floor (dangerous) and water came through two of the ceiling lights one evening. And, there was trash under the bed and in the head. The food was mediorce and cold, except the ice cream was melting, the room service was poor (no folded towels, must ask for additional towels and Kleenex and an unpleasant room attendant) and the dining room service loud and poor. We enjoyed the ports and were very disappointed with Celebrity...on which we have cruosed before.

The food was noting special at bestand frequently cold. and the service was loud and slow. We avoided the dining room about a third of the time.

The stateroom was adequate and in poor condition.

We participated in few of the onboard activities and miss an adequare ballroom dance floor.

Stay away from the Infinity...it's too tired to be sailing!

The Panama Canal Cruise (this was our second) in a marvelous cruise if on a suitable, well maintained ship. The Infinity does not qualify as suitable, well maintained. The ports are excellent as was the weather.
