Mercury Cruise Review

Rachel

Age: 21 to 35
Number of Cruises: 3 to 5 Cruises
Ship: Mercury
Departure: November 1, 1998
Itinerary: Western Caribbean

The Mercury is a beautiful ship inside and out. Embarkation was very easy, but a bit time consuming. There were a lot of stairs so if you have a problem walking do be sure to ask for assistance before you arrive at the pier. Once on board, the ship was very easy to get around. I found my cabin at once without any problems. I must say, if I had any problems there were plenty of people to help me find my way.

My cabin was a category 7-oceanview room. It was a good size for two people with plenty of storage.

The staff on board during my cruise was friendly and very good at their jobs. Take the time to get to know some of them. They come from all over the world and have very interesting stories. The staff in Michael's Cigar club is very knowledgeable about cigars. Michael's also has a great ventilation system; I spent many a night in there after the shows and had no problems with the smoke.

The shows were great; my favorite is Bond Voyage, a tribute to James Bond movies. If you’re not a Bond fan find something else to do that night. If you like James even a little get your martini and enjoy the show.

The food on this ship is too good for words.

I highly recommend this ship. She truly exceeded all of my expectations.
