upon boarding we felt a warmth from the staff, we had a sky suite so we had the services of a butler, he was very polite and friendly but discrete. the cabin stewardess was lovely. the cabin however was a bit of a disappointment as the color scheme clashed and was very dated. the bathroom was nice but was spoilt by a huge cracked mirror, it made the bathroom seem shabby and second rate. after asking to have it replaced we were refused. I wondered who had occupied the cabin before. the verandah was big but the sun only got to it on the way back. the furniture on the verandah was dirty with sticky stuff and stains from others, it hadn't been cleaned in a while as also the patio window.

the dinning room service was excellent with a charming but busy waiter. he did look after us until the last night when he lost interest. the food was really nice . the ship did not have a specialty restaurant as advertised. the bars were a little unfriendly compared to the previous cruise on infinity. the entertainment was very poor and boring apart from the karaoke which was hugely popular, shame they only managed 3 the whole trip.

the pool area was really nice and we got sun beds easily even though the ship was full. The spa was really good with a good range of treatments and not too pricey. The staff in the gym and spar were very helpful and friendly.

the itinerary could have been better had they not included Catalina island as this caused us to lose about 3 days to bad weather.

On the whole the trip was okay but this ship is too small and is just waiting for retirement.
