This was our first time on the Millennium
and I had read all about it on the internet. The ship was really big and very
nice. The service in the dining room was excellent, the library wonderful, and
all activities well planned and plentiful.
The entertainment was good - not as good as that on the Crown Princess which we
sailed about 5 years ago. Also, while the food was good, it was not outstanding
and was not possible to eat at any time you might choose. Nevertheless you could
eat pizza 24 hours a day and could have room service (limited choices) around
the clock.
Our Cabin was wonderful. Big and bright with a great picture window. There was
plenty of storage cabinets and drawers as well as adequate hanging room for
dresses, etc. There were storage nooks in every corner. It was on the very front
of the ship at the end of the hall so there was a lot of walking to do. It would
have been better for us if it has been about midship.
The bathroom was plenty big though it only had a shower--no tub. Plenty of room
for cosmetics, etc. One tip I have learned and used on both cruises. I take a
shoe bag that hangs on the back of the door and put it inside our bathroom door
and you have plenty of room for all your cosmetics, etc. Your cabin steward will
love you for this.
Service was very good and personnel very friendly. I would go with Celebrity
again, but I think I prefer Princess overall.
