Summit Cruise Review

Cruise Line: Celebrity Cruises
Ship: Summit
Sailing Date: November 22nd, 2001
Itinerary: Southern Caribbean

Our cruise on the Celebrity ship, the Summit, was an unexpected surprise as normally we prefer the more intimate and casual atmosphere offered on the much smaller luxury vessels. However the experience aboard such a large ship was most pleasant. The food and dining room service on board was exceptionally good and the accommodations were very comfortable. We originally were in a premium oceanview room with balcony and then upgraded to a Sky suite. Both cabins were very well appointed and the attendants and butler in the suite offered very good unobtrusive service. Enjoyed the entertainment overall as this was more of a novelty for us because this type of show entertainment doesn't take place on the small ships. Found the staff at the Guest Relations Desk very helpful and professional as was all the staff aboard. Getting on and off the ship at the various ports was great with little to no waiting. A very efficient system with security in mind that runs very smoothly. Would not hesitate taking another cruise aboard Celebrity in the future.
