Age: 55
Our cabin was on deck seven so
about midway between all of the activities. It was quite spacious and very well maintained by our
cabin steward. He was attentive and friendly but not too much.
The food was some of the best
we've had on a cruise and typical of Celebrity. Excellent desserts every night and a well balanced
menu. One of our table mates was a vegetarian and she was very impressed with not only the selection
but also the taste of her food. Our table steward and his assistant were wonderful, knowing our
taste by the second night. Our wine steward, Anne, was a delight even though we hardly ordered any
wine. She would stop by the table, ask how our day was and genuinely seemed to be interested in us,
not just to sell us wine.
The band had the sound of a
much larger group and was also very good. Don't miss Metro, the a capella singing group. They are
fantastic.
I went to the gym several
times and was very pleased with the quality and quantity of the equipment. There are not very many
classes offered though, so you are on your own.
The ship is very large, but
quite easy to find your way around. There are many quiet places to read, play cards or just relax. Embarkation and disembarkation were done quickly and very efficiently. We were aboard by about 1 PM and left on the last day by about 9AM. Ask a Question About Celebrity Cruise Lines
